Re: The Politics of Coronavirus

I saw death totals the other day which were as follows: Scotland: 0 Wales: 0 N. Ireland: 0 England: 145 Just goes to show that the smaller countries are using their devolved powers wisely, all choosing to ignore Boris and his "advisors". Most of the population within the three smaller nations live ...

Re: The Politics of Coronavirus

There are bound to be occasions where the present government will have been found wrong in their decisions. The trouble is that no government has ever had to deal with such a far reaching and world wide problem as this. Lessons will be learned from it for sure. If we have another 'spike' or if we ar...

I was always taught, that if you are going to quote, then quote accurately
I was always taught that spelling, punctuation and knowing when to start a new line (or not) after a full stop, are essential to properly make the point.

Re: The Politics of Coronavirus

Experts are predicting that England will see further spikes due to the shambolic way this has been handled. Throughout this pandemic the government have ignored experts, yet it's somehow not their fault for thousands of deaths as they were led by their advisors???? It is a small % of the public tha...

Looks nice, just hope the badge is embroided on not just printed as it is on the promo photos Printed promos and the like are an abomination. My leather settee has white marks (I think it a smudge of 'Princebuild') where I have at some time leaned back wearing one of my Posh shirts! Ant ideas how t...

Re: Such Foresight

And there are those who gnaw away at our national self-respect, rewriting British history as centuries of unrelieved gloom, oppression and failure. And others, under the shelter of our education system, are ruthlessly attacking the minds of the young. ____ Beginning sentences with 'And' and 'And' U...

I don't think he's doing a superb job, I just think he is doing as well as anyone would in that position. If he had ignored all the scientific evidence and did the opposite people would have criticized him for not following scientific advice. The gormless oaf on the other side of the table can ques...

It's a small world.

Re: Next Season Rivalries

I can't help but notice that a few seasons ago our biggest derby day was Luton, who I personally haven't ever seen as a rival to us. Now it seems along with our small rivalries with Lincoln and The Franchise, we also have the old enemy in Northampton potentially coming up if they can win the playof...

Gutted Cheltenham out, come on Exeter
Shame for Colchester as it is a reasonably easy ground to attend and I sincerely hope that the Cobblers make sure that we won't have that awful three hour journey down to Exeter.
A game against our nearest rivals is a mouth watering prospect.
