Re: Past and Present Players
I noticed the Barrow v Wimbledon game last night, pitted Kgosi Nthle and Luke James against Alex Woodyard

Brentford maintained their fine recent form as they beat Queens Park Rangers to stretch their unbeaten Championship run to seven matches.
Brentford top scorer Ivan Toney headed the 64th-minute winner from a whipped right-foot cross by Emiliano Marcondes

Maddison was on the bench (and stayed there) in today's Ipswich Town 0-2 Charlton Athletic League 1 game.
Re: Past and Present Players
Rotherham 0-2 Brentford
Marcus Forss gave the Bees the lead with a composed finish after Ivan Toney pulled the ball back to him from Bryan Mbuemo's deep cross.
Top scorer Toney wrapped up the points from the penalty spot after Mikel Miller had been sent off for bringing down Sergi Canos when he was through on goal.
Re: Past and Present Players
Can’t remember, which Posh manager signed Britt Assombalonga?
Re: Past and Present Players
Charlton 2-2 Plymouth
Charlton might have lost had it mot been for Maddison
Charlton equalised for a second time in the 67th minute when substitute Marcus Maddison drove in a superb strike from 25 yards.
But Washington made up for it later.
Conor Washington blazed over with the goal gaping with 15 minutes remaining as it ended honours even.
So, Charlton missed the opportunity to overtake Posh.

Re: Past and Present Players
Not really a past player but a past manager, a big write up in today’s Times about Gary Johnson he must have been so pleased with his spell at London Road, he doesn’t even mention Posh https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/my-b ... -spp7jthhz

Gary, according to Darragh, was his least favourite, by some distance.

Yeovil 3-0 Aldershot.
Jermaine Anderson got a couple of mentions in the BBC report of the game
Jermaine Anderson was unable to convert a good chance at the start of the second half.
A miserable afternoon was complete for the visitors when Anderson was sent off late on after picking up a second booking.

Re: Past and Present Players
I recall with affection his last game n charge where despite taking a hammering from a Premier League side we had for the first ten to fifteen minutes completely outplayed them.

Spurs 2-0 Brentford (EFL Cup)
Ivan Toney thought he had equalised for the Championship side midway through the second half but his strike was ruled out for offside after a VAR check.
